Design For Industry
Backed by 30 plus years of industry expertise, and thousands of hours CAD experience, I can simulate what's developing design & construction wise, months in advance. Problems & clashes can be seen & dealt with well before they occur. It's not really a question of technology (although it helps) but more about chasing down the missing information, then achieving and presenting a solution.
Industrial design services
My most common role is to “unscramble” design information from consulting engineers and architects. From their information, I create easy-to-follow workshop drawings and site plans for the fabrication and erection of structural steel, that meets the design intent. The deliverables are usually shop drawings, marking plans, hold down bolt plans, purlin and girt schedules, cutting lists, bolt lists and DXF (Data Exchange Files) for plate-work as required. I can also provide the following industrial design services:

I have vast experience in the design and implementation of projects of all kinds, the main focus (for about the past 20 years or so) has been in prefabricated structural steel.
